About Royal Harp

“I really do love guitars and enjoy working together with owners to develop their instrument into what they want it to be. My aim is to help customers identify the sound and function they are looking for and enhance their instrument toward their specific style of play, including anything from beginner to professional.”

Todd Peters

“Music has been a driving force in my life and I have spent the last 25 years playing music around the world in a variety of contexts. Fixing my own guitars and setting up guitars for others has always been a part of my craft, which eventually led to launching a successful boutique guitar and repair shop in Saskatoon. Since moving on from that project I have continued to challenge myself with new and unique projects, including building acoustic and electric guitars as well as a mandolin.”

Whether you are looking for a minor repair, an overhaul, a specific sound or esthetic, or have a vision for an original project, I offer a wide range of repair and design expertise to make it happen. I do my best to explain and keep in touch with customers as I do more complex repairs, and I’m not happy with a repair until the customer is satisfied. I am also meticulous about the care of instruments, and treat every instrument I’m working on like I would my own.

Used Gear

From 1930’s Dobros and 1950’s Gibson amplifiers, to the modern instruments of today, Royal Harp offers a wide selection of quality used gear.  Check out our fine offerings below!
